Accessibility Statement

What we aim for, what we have verified, and what is not done yet.

Last updated: 2026-09-01

Our Target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this website. We describe the actual state of the site here rather than claiming conformance we have not verified.

This includes the cookie consent banner: it is reachable by keyboard, it does not trap focus, and its accept and decline controls are the same kind of control at the same size.

What We Have Built In

  • Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • The navigation menus announce their state, close on Escape and return focus to the control that opened them
  • Form errors are given as text and are associated with the field they belong to, not signalled by colour alone
  • Every form control has a visible, associated label
  • Headings run in order, with one first-level heading per page
  • Body text is at least 16 pixels and interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels
  • Decorative motion is switched off when your system asks for reduced motion
  • Text contrast meets the AA ratios against the backgrounds it is used on

Known Limitations

The portfolio comparison table scrolls horizontally inside its own container on narrow screens. It is reachable by keyboard, but reading it on a small screen takes more effort than the rest of the site.

This site has been tested with automated tooling and a manual keyboard pass. It has not yet been tested with every combination of screen reader and browser.

This statement is itself under review and will be updated as testing continues.

Telling Us About a Problem

If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us through the inquiry form on the Contact page and describe what happened and what you were using. We will reply and, where we can, fix it.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is checked as part of building each page rather than as a review at the end. When we find something we cannot fix immediately, we list it under known limitations above rather than leaving it undocumented.
